Waco, Texas-based business specializing in aviation night vision goggles credits customer-focused business model for 15 years of growth and announces updates for 2022

Waco, Texas – This year begins the monumental sixteenth year in operation for internationally renowned, locally owned and operated enterprise Night Flight Concepts (NFC), which specializes in providing aviation night vision goggles to clients around the world. NFC has become a forerunner in the aviation equipment industry. The company leadership attributes their remarkable success to their customer-focused business model and expert, passionate team members. In 2022, NFC plans to offer new product lines and manufacturer updates to existing merchandise, as well introduce automated processes to make communication and administrative processing faster and more efficient for clients.

Since 2006, NFC has served law enforcement, military, commercial, and private aviation clients in global established and emerging markets from their home office in Waco, Texas. The team boasts more than 300 first response units across the U.S. as clients, as well as hundreds more internationally. They provide night vision goggles for pilots, navigators, and technicians of both helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft, and the company works with each client individually to customize a tailored equipment package that address the complexities of the client’s operations. NFC offers FAA-approved equipment training, and the company is the exclusive night vision goggles repair shop in the U.S. approved to inspect and maintain equipment and provide clients with an FAA Form 8130 Airworthiness Approval Tag.

NFC proudly provides equipment and service for many first response and emergency services operations, including EMS aviation pilots and aerial search-and-rescue teams, which frequently operate in night or low-light conditions over a variety of terrain. Additional NFC clientele include a number of law enforcement bureaus and several military organizations. Nonmilitary service uses for night vision goggles include agricultural operations and private and commercial aviation enterprises, all of which NFC is honored to serve.

In 2022, NFC also anticipates upgrades to ongoing product lines, including the popular AN/AVS-9 green phosphor and white phosphor aviation night vision goggles equipment series, as well as new products to be announced for the ANVIS 9 line of night vision goggles. The NFC website will be updated to reflect new items when they are available for purchase. In addition, NFC plans to upgrade their internal processes with increased customer management, communication, and administrative automation. The company is seeking to improve their customers’ experience through easier document and contract management, an enhanced round-the-clock contact system, and increased website optimization.

From the NFC Founder: Regarding the milestone of 15 years of growth in the night vision goggles industry, NFC co-founder and partner Adam Aldous said: “Our success comes from our customer-focused business model. Our four core team members have been with us since the beginning, and they are the heart of how we do things. My team directly connects with our customers and offers every single one a personal touch. They understand different clients’ needs. They’re sensitive to culture and psychology. They’re true experts of the product knowledge. It’s because of them that customers continue to choose us.”

The NFC Process: The NFC process that puts customers first begins with a consultation that last a minimum of 30 minutes. During the initial conversation, an NFC team member enquires about the client’s aircraft, purpose of use for their night vision goggles, and number, type, and extent of training of their aviation team. With that information, the NFC team member helps the client navigate their choices and recommends specific technology to suit their needs.

The NFC team member then arranges training for all members of the client’s team who will use the equipment. Depending on the client, training can occur in Waco, at the fully equipped NFC facility, or an NFC team member may travel to the client’s location and perform specialized on-ground training with their team on their own aircraft. Before shipping or delivery, all NFC night vision goggles are inspected and certified as Airworthy according to FAA guidelines, and prepared with any customization to meet the client’s individual specs. All NFC clients can contact NFC for ongoing inspections and maintenance needs.

NFC offers two unique options for clients to upgrade or “trade up” their current night vision goggles. Customers interested in updating equipment that is older than five years can take advantage of the Upgrade Program, which replaces outdated image intensifier tubes and other technology in a client’s current equipment and includes a two-year protection warranty. Customers interested in replacing their current equipment with new technology can enjoy the Trade-Up Program, which exchanges old equipment for new and includes a variety of finance options and a five-year warranty coverage.
