Millennium Medical Associates has won Best ADD & ADHD Treatment Specialists in California in the GHP 2020 Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards. There are numerous signs of ADD/ADHD, each unique to the individual. ADD is one of three distinct “subtypes” of ADHD, which stands for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. While many individuals continue to use the term ADD, doctors typically refer to this subtype as ADHD Predominantly Inattentive Type. The two other subtypes are ADHD Predominantly Hyperactive-Impulsive Type, and ADHD Combined Type, which includes hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive symptoms.

According to the National Institutes of Mental Health, approximately 15 million Americans had ADHD in 2016. They estimated that roughly 9% of adults with ADHD had been diagnosed and received treatment, implying that 91% went undiagnosed. Even in 2021, society is profoundly undereducated on this medical condition and the disastrous effects it can have on the life of an individual who works harder but is unaware of available treatments.
