Petite USA Pageant Celebrates 10-year Anniversary with 2021 National Pageant

Beauty pageant for petite women puts underrepresented women on national stage.

The Petite USA Pageant celebrated its tenth anniversary with its National Beauty pageant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this past March. Recognized as the largest national beauty pageant for women 5’6’’ and under, Petite USA continues to help give underrepresented ladies a national platform in the beauty and pageant industry.

Almost 150 contestants from across the country came to the Hyatt Regency hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to compete for the national titles of Miss Petite USA, Teen Petite USA, Ms. Petite USA, and Mrs. Petite USA. Throughout the last 10 years, the Petite USA pageant has promoted healthy competition, friendship among its members, and passion for serving the community and society.

The new national queens were crowned in front of a live audience of over 200 people, with thousands more streaming from home. They won a prize package with a combined value of over $25,000, plus a modeling contract and a trip to compete at the 2022 Universal Petite International Pageant.

The new 2021 National Petite USA queens are:

Melanie Juarez- Teen Petite USA. She is a Junior at the University of South Carolina Upstate Scholars Academy. Melanie has been modeling for ten years. She believes that pageants are an excellent way for young girls out there to learn self-confidence. Melanie loves community service, and she is the founder of a nonprofit organization called “Girls Empower Girls,” which is in charge of spreading the message of women empowerment and mental health awareness.

Lindsey Mazzeo- Miss Petite USA. She is a fashion merchandising student and preschool assistant teacher. She owns a platform called “More Than Fashion,” which uses fundraising efforts to provide women essential clothing items and confidence coaching. Lindsey is the achiever of her dreams, and she is currently publishing a children’s book and designing her fashion brand.

Catherine Bandstra- Ms. Petite USA. She has a BA in psychology from American Military University. Catherine is currently pursuing a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, emphasizing Military Therapy while working full time in the automotive industry as a licensed dealer. She owns a platform called “I SEE YOU,” which promotes holistic well-being, community resources and recognizes every individual. She is a mother of a 6-year-old girl who keeps her motivated and full of joy.

Nancy Nguyen Liles – Mrs. Petite USA. She is a dedicated mom of two toddler girls, Fire Captain’s wife, and first-generation American Trilingual entrepreneur. Nancy has a B.A. in Spanish at N.C. State University, and an M.B.A. in leadership from Depaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. She has a best seller book on Amazon called “The Networking Diary” Nancy plans to use her reign to help others through virtual retreat using the C.R.O.W.N method, which stands for: Confidence, Resources, Opportunities, Winning Mindset, and Networking.
