Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) Successfully Alleviates Psoriasis and Shows Promising Results

September 13, 2021 – Integral Eye movement Therapy (IEMT), promoted by therapist John Moore, is a form of psychotherapy similar to EMDR. The practice was discovered by the psychotherapist Andrew T. Austin in 2006. It has been successful in remedying anxiety, depression, and now stress-induced Psoriasis.

A case study published in the Journal of Experiential Psychotherapy tells of a patient’s experience with Integral Eye Movement Therapy in treating his Psoriasis. Therapist John Martin Moore, assisted by author Alexandru Ioan Manea, successfully used IEMT to lessen the chronic stress state of a patient and eventually treat his Psoriasis skin lesions.

Andrew T. Austin, developer of IEMT says, “This was a very surprising discovery made by one of our practitioners in South Africa. We can’t say yet if this will be of long-term benefit, but early results are certainly looking promising.”

The Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) is still an emerging area of swift therapeutic change that discovers the problem of undesired emotions in human beings. It explores the question of how humans have learned to feel the way they do and gives way to the likelihood of creating the appropriate change in the emotional aspect of life.

By teaching resources and skills inside the problem state, IEMT appears to bring the client more into the present moment and enables them to stay out of past negative experiences. Practitioners consistently report that IEMT has created change in their clients where no other approach has worked previously”, says a spokesperson for Integral Eye movement Therapy.

Even though IEMT is not one of the bigger theories of therapy, it has still proven itself to be a useful addition for trained therapists. When used correctly, it can offer an exceptional corrective tool for emotional transformation and a reproductive instrument for identity change.  Practitioners say that IEMT allows outstanding results, where formerly a good outcome might have seemed impossible.

John Martin Moore is an innovative practitioner and approved trainer of Integral Eye Movement (IEMT). He practices mainly from Brighton & Hove but has lately been working via zoom with more due to Covid19.
