DeroGold Association Introduces Floating Recyclable Islands to Save the World

Just launched on Indiegogo, this remarkable new project was created to overcome the problems of trash and housing at the same time.

Bonita Springs, FL – The DeroGold Association is a worldwide community and cryptocurrency effort dedicated to restoring balance in our environment by providing a better and safer way of living on this planet through improved methods of recycling. With a team that was assembled from all over the world, the group has set up an Indiegogo page in order to raise funds for their latest project: Floating Recyclable Islands Can Save The World.

The project involves using everyday garbage such as glass, plastic bottles, styrofoam and more to build carbon-negative, self –sustaining islands that would float on the ocean.  Every island built would result in toxic waste being taken out of the environment, and dangerous greenhouse gases taken out of the atmosphere.

The visionary behind the DeroGold project, Mitchel Deynzer, says that he and his team want to see a world where no-one is left homeless due to climate change:

“We want to change people’s attitude towards garbage and recyclables,” says Deynzer. “Floating recyclable islands can save the world by solving our trash problems and housing problems at the same time.”

The Indiegogo campaign was set up to raise funds for filming, transportation, construction and materials, with materials requiring the largest allocation of funds by far. 90% of the raw materials needed would cost nothing, and would be collected through recycling drives, but the necessary pre-fabricated materials would cost money which the team doesn’t have.

The creation of the first floating island will be chronicled in a documentary film – an important step, according to Deynzer:

“We want to document every detail by recording what we do and how we do it. It’s crucial that we share the process with everyone, so that people all over the world can start creating islands.”

The team would welcome financial contributions of any size in order for them to get started on this world-changing project. But they are also asking people to help in other ways, by sharing the Indiegogo page or YouTube video on social media, talking to people and spreading the word, and volunteering to help with recycling drives.

“The future of our planet is at stake. If our video were to go viral on YouTube, that would be a huge step forward for us.  We appreciate anything you can do to help.”
