AVOXI Rolls Out Expanded Virtual Phone Number Coverage in Asia
Fresh off the release of the AVOXI Genius software platform, the company continues its expansion in APAC.

ATLANTA and CHARLESTON, S.C. – Oct 1, 2019 – AVOXI, the call management platform of choice for international businesses, hit another milestone in their global expansion initiative. The company released an expanded set of digital phone line options and coverage options across APAC, a region where AVOXI has worked hard to establish itself as a major player in the cloud communications space. Their efforts are already being rewarded by the local markets in Asia and Oceania, with the company enjoying an amazing growth rate in new customer trends coming out of APAC since 2018.

The latest release includes first-time coverage of digital phone numbers in Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and several cities in India. Other regions in Asia and Oceania that received a major upgrade in available coverage included Australia, Cambodia, China, Japan, Russia, Macau, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. After achieving a major milestone earlier this year by expanding their virtual number coverage to include 160 countries, AVOXI maintains aggressive targets for their 2019 expansion project. New customer acquisition from accounts based in APAC increased over 1,000% between Q2 2018 and Q2 2019. In 2018, AVOXI established additional network infrastructure in the region with a new Point-of-Presence located in Hong Kong.

AVOXI has been steadily adding local customer-facing representatives and strategic leadership dedicated to the region, including a new Commercial Director of APAC, Alvin Ho. In 2019, AVOXI added 6 Indian cities to their online inventory, becoming one of the only international carriers offering local coverage in India.

Other notable achievements stemming from AVOXI’s 2019 expansion initiative include the return of virtual numbers in Seoul, South Korea, as first-time availability of local virtual numbers from dozens of Chinese cities.

AVOXI’s rise in Asia is not expected to slow down anytime in the foreseeable future. “Establishing a strong local presence in a new region takes time,” stated Connor Kimball, AVOXI’s Director of Global Demand Generation. “While our success in the last 12 months has been exciting, we aren’t ready to celebrate yet.
