VSA, Inc. Introduces New Vice President of Business Development

Haddon Township, N.J. – Over the past three years, VSA Inc.’s revenues have increased 612%.  To ensure strong continued growth, the South Jersey-based Inside Sales Firm is excited to announce a key addition to its executive staff.

On August 27th, Ken Peffer joined VSA as Vice President of Business Development. Ken brings years of expertise and a fresh perspective to VSA, along with a strong record of sales success and expertise from a career that spans both sales and marketing.

Ken comes to VSA from Main Line TeleCommunications—a professional communications and messaging firm serving hundreds of commercial clients—where he led both Marketing and Business Development. Previously, he was a growth agent at boutique web development firm Bright Orange Thread, and has also served in marketing roles at Metavante Corporation and GHR Systems, Inc. During his tenure at GHR, the firm tripled in size.

Ken first became familiar with VSA in 2013, when he served on the Board of ANA Business Marketing’s Philadelphia Chapter alongside Valerie Schlitt, VSA’s founder and CEO.

“When I was first introduced to Valerie almost 6 years ago,” Mr. Peffer reflects, “I couldn’t have imagined how tremendously her company would grow, let alone how excited I would be to join the VSA Team. I’m looking forward to helping the firm serve new clients, new markets and lines of business.”

Indeed, VSA is in growth mode, and Mr. Peffer is assuming his role amidst an ambitious slate of initiatives. To meet the increasing demands of the market, VSA has been updating its website and branding, overhauling its technology, and restructuring its programs to broaden its specialization in certain industries—such as healthcare, manufacturing and education—in which sale cycles are typically longer and more technical than in more conventional sectors.

“Many firms in our industry are attracted to simpler prospecting programs, but VSA needed a sales leader who would fully understand the more intricate needs of our clients,” says Ms. Schlitt. “Ken’s experience selling complex products and services is a great fit for VSA, our clients and our culture. I’m so thrilled to have him on board to usher in our continued growth.”
